Matching continents and cities can be fun if there is a bit of competition. Boost energy as well, especially after the break


Description

If you wish to energize the group after lunch, search no more! Matching continents and cities is an excellent activity to boost the group’s energy. Why? Because it’s quick and competitive. It doesn’t need that much of your training time or any special resources to run it. The template and cards you find in Colltrain are all you need – so let the fun begin! This activity showcases also how one can develop mix and match activities.

Flow

Introduction

  • Introduce the activity to the participants.
  • Split them into teams.
  • Join each team and provide the activity link.

Work

  • Participants take the cards out from the set, one by one. On each card there’s a city name written on it. Their task is to move the cards in the right column, the one corresponding to the matching continent.
  • The team that scores the best time and matches correctly the highest number of cities wins.

Debrief (suggested)

Variations

Instead of cards with cities, you can use cards with famous touristic landmarks, men of science, actors, etc
